How to play "EvoWars.io"

If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, easy to understand MOBA, then you’re in for a treat with Evowars.io.

This is a 2-dimensional top-to-bottom scroller MMO with an isometric perspective. It can be played for free using your browser, or your mobile phone. The mobile phone version, which runs on both iOS and Android, can be played offline so you can have your dose of fun from this game anytime, anywhere.

Okay, so the objective as a player is quite simple. All you need to do is just gain as high a score as you can by killing opponents and collecting orbs. When you’re at a very low level, it’s recommended that you focus on avoiding your opponents and just collect the multi-colored orbs that are scattered across the arena.

Take a look at the bottom of the screen. You can find a “sword gauge.” Every time you collect an orb, this gauge fills up. If you focus on collecting as many of the larger orbs as you can, you can see that will fill the gauge a lot faster.

When that gauge fills up, your character undergoes a transformation. For instance, you start off as a caveman with a wooden club. Your first transformation turns you into an armored viking armed with an ax. This is followed by a knight with a shield and a jousting javelin, so on and so forth.

The longer you last in a game, the more transformations you can unlock! The transformations themselves are divided into levels, with the second one being a Viking. You can keep track of this at the home page, at the end of every round.

When you feel strong enough, you can start taking on enemies. All it takes is one blow from your weapon to kill the enemy. This also adds experience points to your gauge as well. The game has an interesting caveat about combat, which adds a little bit of realism. You can only attack effectively if your opponent is on your right side, which is your sword arm.

Take note that it also takes only one blow from your opponent to kill you as well, and you lose all your experience points when that happens. You’d have to go back from the start.

It’s also very easy to control your character in Evowars.io. You just need to move the mouse to steer your character along. You can move fast by pressing the Right mouse button, but this will consume experience points. To attack, simply press the left mouse button.
